Introduction

This blog will almost be a diary of the things that go on in my life as a mother. I will talk about my feelings of joy, frustration, accomplishment, disapointments etc. I will talk about the funny things that happen between my 3 children and the realities of life. I will be compeletly honest and sometimes will present somewhat controversial issues concerning different parental philosophies.
Just for an intro to anyone who is reading this and doesn't know me, I am the mother of 3 children, ages 2 1/2 and twins 11 mo. I am a very schedule oriented mother, although I am starting to lighten up a little. I am against attachment parenting and child led households. I believe that parents should be in charge but kids should be presented with many choices. I believe kids should be allowed to reap the consequences of their choices as a form of disipline. I am all for corporal punishment although I don't think it's always necesarry. In my opinion there are many other ways to discipline children that are often more effective than spankings. I think it's important to make the effort to find those other ways when given the opportunity. This is how children will learn to live in the real world. Anyhow, I just wanted to introduce myself and give a brief discription on my background as a parent.
I will start my posts at the beginning of the year. I hope to do them weekly, but we'll see. My children keep me busy!
